December 16th 1979, American Astronomer Edward L. G. Bowell (born 1943) discovered the Asteroid 2264 in the Main Belt, at the Anderson Mesa Sation of the Lowell-Observatory in Arizona. The Asteroid was named Sabrina after legendary English princess, daughter of King Locrine. She was drowned by her stepmother in the River Severn.

From 1993 until 2003, Melissa Joan Hart (born 1976) played Sabrina Spellman on the television series “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”.
